You may encounter Office error code 194 while installing, repairing or updating Office 365, 2013 or 2016. Please follow the below steps carefully to fix the Office error code 194 problem.
NOTE: Bookmark this webpage or open in another computer as we need to reboot the computer.
Step 1: Disk Clean-up
To delete files using Disk Cleanup
Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search
box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.
In the Drives list, click the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.
In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the checkboxes for the
file types that you want to delete, and then click OK.
In the message that appears, click Delete files.
Step 2: system file checker to fix Office error code 194
Run system file checker: SFC /scannow
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
Enter command prompt in the search box.
In the list of results, swipe down on or right-click Command Prompt, and then tap or click Run
as administrator.
In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following command and press Enter:
sfc /scannow.
When the system scan is complete, run below tool to remove office files from computer.

Tool will appear like below pic, click next and tool will remove all the left over files from previous installation. Also, if you are on wifi network please switch to wired network (Connecting LAN cable)

Once the tool finishes, reboot the computer if tool ask for reboot.
